About Xena:
Xena is a young Aussie / Blue Heeler mix who came to us from another shelter. She is a very active and happy dog who would benefit from an active home. Xena adores tennis balls but they should be put away when done with play – she also thinks they are a tasty treat and will eat them!!! She does great with stuffies or ropes and bones; she loves them all!!! Xena is a bouncy pup who may be too energetic for a home with little ones, but children who are steady on their feet should be just fine! In her down time, Xena likes to suck on and knead soft blankets like a cat; we think it brings her comfort and helps her relax. Xena gets along great with other dogs.
