About Tony:
Tony is a Shih-Tzu/Dachshund mix who came to us after being surrendered by his owner; she had too many dogs and was unable to continue caring for all of them properly, so surrendered Tony to find a better home. Tony is said to have been born in early 2017. His former owner said that he is great with other dogs, but we have noticed he is lacking some in social skills. He can be a little rude and pushy with other dogs, but not aggressive; another dog that is calm and patient would do him good! Tony would be okay in a home with children but does require a family without cats. He is a spunky little dude who will make a great companion for a family looking for a low-shed, hypoallergenic type little dog!
