About Tank:
Beagles are known for having a gentle, sweet and tolerant temperament, and Tank lives up to his breed’s reputation. Although confused, Tank eagerly meets new people who take the time to say hello. Tank lived in a home with several Beagles who were trained to hunt rabbits, but not too long ago, his elderly owner decided he could no longer care for him or his brothers and sisters. Several rescues helped pull the Beagles from the county shelter, but they had to be separated due to the number of them. Since being with us, Tank has seemed depressed so we are starting to pair him with other dogs for play, and he is doing very well. Due to his calm, passive personality, we believe Tank will do well with children, as well as other dogs. But he does need to go to a home with fence since he was trained to follow his nose. Please consider giving our gentle Tank another chance by making your home his final forever home.
