About Spencer:
Spencer is a 12 lb beagle/chihuahua mix who came to us from another rescue. He was originally found as a stray suffering from heartworm, but has since been treated. Spencer bonds very quickly to his person and will sit on your lap all day if you let him. Because of this strong bond, we recommend he go to a single-person home; he can be a bit protective of whoever he is most closely bonded too. To the people he loves, Spencer is a wonderful little dog who loves to hang out on the couch and get pets. He likes running around in the yard and is good with most other dogs. We aren’t sure how Spencer would do with cats. Spencer may be a bit of a barker when he is crated but seems ok the rest of the time. We would love for him to go home very soon!
