About Skeeter:

**FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED** Skeeter is a 20 lb Rat Terrier / Heeler mix who came to us from another shelter after his owner surrendered him. He is said to be a great dog, but a bit of a barker — he would not do well in an apartment. At our Haven, Skeeter seems very anxious and spends much of his time hiding under his bed. He has made great strides in the short time we’ve had him but we think he would benefit from getting back into a home asap. Skeeter initially tested well with other dogs but so far we have been unable to pair him up with a buddy; he has shown no aggression, he just seems scared of the other dogs around him. We aren’t sure how he would do with cats. Skeeter does well with children but protects them to a fault; we think a home with teenagers and up may be best. Skeeter will fluorish in his forever home.
