Sheamus

About Sheamus:

Sheamus is a stunning and young Redbone Coonhound mix — he is smaller than he looks in pictures, weighing in at only about 45 lbs. This boy could fill out a little yet, but is not expected to get much bigger than his current size. Sheamus is all hound — he would follow his nose to the end of the world. He has the typical hound bay so may not be ideal for apartment life, but is relatively low key. He can be goofy and endearing, but also knows how to relax and hang out. Sheamus LOVES other dogs and bounces around asking to play; its pretty funny to watch as Sheamus is all leg with those big ears flapping around! He enjoys playing with toys of all kinds, especially ropes and stuffies that he can pick up and shake. This sweet little hound dog loves attention and will do just about anything for treats. He came from a rural area and seems a little nervous about all the cars driving by, but would get over that with a little time and patience. Sheamus would do well with children of all ages, but may do best with a fenced in yard so he doesn’t accidentally wander off after something he smells. We have not yet tested him with cats.
