About Scooter:
We are still getting to know Scooter but so far, he is an awesome pup! One thing we immediately learned about him is that he LOVES toys. He drags us to the toy box to pick out a toy whenever he is out and will try to fit all of the toys in his mouth at the same time. He is extremely happy and wags his tail all the time — except when he is alone in his kennel. Then he gives you the saddest looks ever! Scooter has two different colored eyes and looks to have some American Bulldog in him, despite being short and stout. He poses well for the camera and will do anything you want for a squeaky tennis ball! He plays well with other dogs and does okay with cats that are already familiar with dogs — he doesn’t know how to react when cats attack him, but does great with kitties that tolerate him. Scooter would probably do great with kids — despite being bouncy, energetic, and playful — as he settles down quickly and relaxes when you’re not in the mood to play. He approaches everyone for love. It’s hard to believe he is so wonderful despite being found as a stray lugging a heavy chain.
