About Porthos:

Porthos was brought to us as a stray, but we were so excited when we scanned him for a microchip and found his original owner!  We were looking forward to reuniting them, which she seemed to want, but then she stopped returning our calls.  So this friendly, handsome, senior boy is in need of a home to live out the rest of his life.  Porthos is very friendly, seems to like other dogs (although we have not done introductions yet), but mostly wants a nice, calm environment where he can rest his weary eyes.  He has a beautiful white coat, and some fatty tumors that come with old age.  Overall he is very healthy, and extremely loving.  We hope to get him in a home soon.  The noisy chaotic environment of a rescue facility is not a place for a senior dog.  If he is not a fit for you, please help us network him so that he can start the home stretch of his life surrounded by love and warmth.
