About Polar:
Polar is a beautiful Golden Retriever/Great Pyranees mix who was surendered to us when his owner was being deployed and family was not well enough to take care of him. We are told he loves other dogs, cats, children of all ages… and playing in the mud! His former owners nicknamed him “Mudbud” and he responds to this as well as his real name! Polar came to us with really dry fur and skin so we had him checked out to be sure he was healthy — bad news is, Polar suffers from hypothyroidism and will need to be on medication for the rest of his life. Good news is, the medication is very cheap and he will be just as healthy as any other dog so long as he remains on it! Polar is a very sweet boy. He likes to lounge, but he also enjoys being outside and spending time with his people. He will be a wonderful addition to any home willing and able to provide for his needs!
