About Pixie:
Pixie is a sweet, one year old pit bull mix who weighs in at around 25 lbs; we don’t expect her to get any bigger, either! She came to us after being left out in the cold on a tether while her family was away; she managed to break through her families fence and ended up on the sidewalk, where she was picked up by animal control. Her owners were alerted but never came to claim her, so she is now ready to find a new family that won’t leave her out in the cold! Pixie is what we like to call a “forever puppy”; she looks like a puppy but is, in reality, full-grown. We expect she will always look this way! Pixie is fairly energetic but VERY sweet; she will climb up in your lap and give kisses, and when she is excited, her whole backside wiggles as she wags! She does very well with other dogs who will play with her and would do fine in a home with children as well. We aren’t sure how she would do with kids. Pixie’s ears are a little funny in that they are rounded at the tips; we are unsure if they were cut or if she was born like this, but they are very unique and add to her cuteness factor! Pixie will make a great addition to just about any home!
