About Nuka:
Nuka is a petite German Shepherd weighing only about 50 lbs. She was initially found at 6 months old living under a wood pile. She was taken to a local shelter and adopted out quickly. Recently, she was returned to that shelter due to no fault of her own; she was then transferred to us due to lack of space. Nuka is a medium energy pup who loves to run around and play and go for walks, but also enjoys curling up on the couch to hang out. She gets along well with other dogs, but may be overwhelmed by rambunctious players who want to jump and wrestle. She has previously lived peacefully with cats and would do well with school-aged children who understand boundaries. Nuka can be a little nervous of men wearing baseball caps (yes, she is very specific; take your hat off when you meet her and she will be just fine) but is pretty sociable otherwise.
