Maxine (f), Myrtle (f), Mabel (f), and Edgar (m) are big, beautiful Newfoundland mix puppies who came to us when their owner, a disabled veteran, asked for help finding them placement. We don’t know what exactly these babies are mixed with but we do expect them to be BIG pups… Maybe not full-sized giants, but definitely big! Maxine is the most friendly of the litter and will greet anyone who approaches with a tail wag and a kiss. Myrtle (with her stumpy little tail) and Edgar are a little more cautious, but still very friendly — they may seem a little aloof at first but they so come around quickly with just a little coaxing. Mabel is the most timid of her litter and may require a little extra patience while adjusting to her new family, but she will give gentle kisses and absolutely comes to life around other dogs! These puppies enjoy being outside and playing with toys (and rocks!?). They don’t have much experience with leashes so will require some leash training. The more timid pups of the litter would benefit from having a more confident doggy sibling in the home to learn the ropes from, but this is not required so long as their new families have patience and love to spare!
