About Nancy:

Nancy is a senior gal who somehow got separated from her family  We have desperately tried to reconnect them but no luck.  Because Nancy is not doing well in a shelter environment, we need to help her start looking forward to a new beginning with another family who will help her through the remaining years of her life.  She is a very gentle girl, who clearly wants to be around people but is very tolerant of other dogs too.  Slow short walks are good for her because we are trying to shed some of her extra pounds but don’t want to over-do it with heart.  She does have a pleading look in her eyes as if she is asking us to help her, and she has touched many volunteers and staff who have spent time with her.  Please consider helping this very calm and kind senior girl who just needs to know she is loved, and has food, warmth and shelter for the rest of her life.  Helping older dogs is so rewarding, and we swear the dogs are somehow able to comprehend and appreciate what you are doing.
