About Muffin:
Muffin is a sweet blue and white pit mix who came to us after being found as a stray on the streets of Detroit. She is a very sweet girl who wants to be in your lap and who loves going for walks (although some leash training will be necessary). Muffin is said to be good with other dogs her size but seems to be a little too interested in small dogs — we think a playmate similar in size or larger would be great for her! She would probably do fine with older children who are steady on their feet as well! Muffin is, unfortunately, heartworm positive. She will be undergoing treatment soon and will require a home committed to following post-treatment protocol for a few months post-adoption.
