Miska

About Miska:

Miska is an Akita Inu who spent the last several months (before coming to us) living in an abandoned school. Some locals were providing her with food but were unable to capture her right away; in time, she came to trust them, was willingly caught, and was brought to us. Surprisingly, Miska turned out to be microchipped — despite multiple attempts to contact her family, Miska was never claimed. She definitely seems to remember what being a pet is alll about though; she is incredibly friendly and meets new people without hesitation! She keeps her kennel clean most of the time and is not a big barker. She walks decently on a leash and enjoys some toys. Her days on the street are over and she is ready to settle down with a new family all her own! Miska does well with other dogs and would likely do great with children of all ages!
