Mike

About Mike:

Rumor has it Mike belonged to a woman who had recently become homeless and was looking for a no-kill shelter that would take in her baby  When she could not find one, he appeared in the backyard of local home who networked with a good samaritan to find a safe place for him to go. Luckily he ended up in our care because we are a no-kill shelter that will take good care of him until he finds his forever home.  Mike is a very friendly dog that gets along with other dogs, and we believe he would do well with cats too.  He is a gentle soul that we think will do great with children who are steady on their feet (8+ years old), but he is not been tested with children.  Most of all, he just needs a stable life back again where he knows that he won’t lose the roof over his head, or wonder where his next meal will come from.  Please give this kind boy a chance.

Please note that we did attempt to find Mike’s owner to see if there was anything we could do to help keep them together.  Mike was also brought in with a dog named Mariah, but we are not requiring that they are adopted together.
