Mariah

About Mariah:

Rumor has it Mariah belonged to a woman who had recently become homeless and was looking for a no-kill shelter that would take in her baby  When she could not find one, she appeared in the backyard of local home who networked with a good samaritan to find a safe place for her to go. Luckily she ended up in our care because we are a no-kill shelter that will take good care of her until she finds her forever home.  Mariah is a very friendly dog that gets along with other dogs, and we believe she would do well with cats too.  She is a gentle soul that we think will do great with children who are steady on their feet (8+ years old), but she has not been tested with children.  Most of all, she just needs a stable life back again where she knows that she won’t lose the roof over her head, or wonder where her next meal will come from.  Please give this kind girl a chance.

Please note that we did attempt to find Mariah’s owner to see if there was anything we could do to help keep them together.  Mariah was also brought in with a dog named Mike, but we are not requiring that they are adopted together.
