About Madeline:

Madeline came to us as a stray with her two sisters after being found near a business in Detroit. They were in rough shape, covered in scrapes, and absolutely petrified of what was to come. Madeline is feeling much better now but is clearly overwhelmed living in a kennel environment. While she is exceptionally sweet, she does take a little extra patience to trust new people; with a few treats and a gentle voice, Maddie is sure to be in your lap and giving kisses on no time! Due to her timid nature, Madeline would do best in a calm, quiet home without children. She does, however, ADORE other dogs and would benefit from the company of a confident canine sibling! We think she could do just fine in a home with cats as well though a slow introduction would be recommended as she is afraid of kitties at first. Madeline is just a puppy and really needs to find a family who can help her learn what it means to be a beloved family pet!
