About Leslie:

Leslie is a super sweet German Shepherd who came to us when her owner was no longer to care for her. She loves belly rubs and kisses and wants nothing more than to be right at her humans side! Leslie is an incredibly happy Shepherd who would follow her person to the end of the world. Leslie loves, loves, loves going for walks and is an excellent loose leash walker! Leslie is smart and eager to learn new things; she already knows to “sit” on command and comes when you call her. Leslie doesn’t seem to be a particularly fearful Shepherd but has shown signs of having some seperation anxiety during her stay at our Haven — she may do best in a home where someone is home most of the time or with someone who knows how to work with this if she does end up having an issue. Leslie never lived with cats but we believe she would do ok given an appropriate introduction. While she lived with another dog previously, she does seem to be a little reactive to other dogs while on a leash; we think with a slow introduction, she may do ok with another dog. Due to her size and energy level, we recommend a home without very young children; school-aged children and up please!
