About Kizmo:

Kizmo is a handsome pit bull mix who came to us from very bad circumstances. He was with another so-called rescue for quite some time and he (along with many, many more dogs) was not being cared for properly. Kizmo spent most of his time in a crate with limited access to food and water. He is covered in scrapes from trying to escape and weighs next to nothing. He needs a dental done to repair the damage to his teeth from biting at his kennel bars, trying to break free. His white markings are stained yellow from living in filth and will take some time to fade away. Despite all of this, he has a wonderful personality and can’t get enough of people! He will lean against you with all of his weight in order to get love. He has a lot of energy to spare after spending so much time cooped up and will benefit from some serious decompression time once adopted into a home. Kizmo does ok with other dogs but may do best in a home without young children. He is going to make a great companion for an experienced handler who is committed to ensuring he is never neglected again.
