About Jeffrey:
We often hear about people abandoning their dogs out in the middle of nowhere for reasons we can’t even fathom being good enough to let such a precious creature go. While Jeffrey was not dumped on a country road, he was not treated much better. He was dumped on a city street when his “owner” stopped in the middle of a subdivision, opened her car door, put him in the street, and drove off. Jeffrey walked up to a couple sitting on their front porch who witnessed him being abandoned, and thankfully he ended up with us where is safe and loved. Jeffrey is a friendly and sweet boy who has no idea what just happened, but despite everything, is happy to be around people and other dogs as though his life didn’t miss a beat. He likes to be carried, walks nicely on a leash, and gives kisses to anyone brave enough to lean in! It’s time Jeffrey understood what a true family means, and we hope it’s you!
