About Jane:

Jane is a sweet Mastiff who was found living under a porch of an abandoned house.  She was very emaciated, and is being nourished back to a healthy weight size.  We believe she may have been used for breeding and discarded for reasons that we can not even being to comprehend because she is a beautiful and gentle soul.  Jane tends to be on the shy side when meeting new people, but quickly warms up.  She is docile, curious, eager to learn, and oh so sweet when she rubs her nose with people’s noses.  Jane is a tad bit skiddish with unfamiliar and sudden noises, and there are many especially when outside.  Her tendency is flight in the moments that she is scared, so she will definitely need a home with a very secure fence.  Because of her size, shy nature, and need for exposure to the world, we presently believe she would do best in an adult home or at the very least, children should be teenagers.
