About Helen:

Helen is the teeniest, tiniest, cutest Pit Bull mix ever! She is also the absolute sweetest! Helen came to us as a stray when she ran up to a woman on the street. She was already spayed and had a microchip, but the contact information on the microchip was not kept up-to-date and so ended in a dead end. Despite the fact that Helen clearly had an owner at some point, whoever was responsible for her care when she got lost was not doing a good job of it; Helen was crawling with fleas and much of her fur was missing as a result. Flea dermatitis led to skin infection and her ears were filled with infection as well. Despite all of this, Helen seems to have it all figured out; she keeps her kennel very clear, aits on command, and is an overall affectionate little girl! She has a goofy underbite and big personality; she is excited to play with other dogs but is gentle enough to live in a home with small children. Helen definitely has experienced the best life has to offer and the worst; we think she will adjust to living in a home again quickly and without much difficulty. She will make a fabulous companion for someone looking for a compact little love!
