Heidi

About Heidi:

Heidi is a GORGEOUS Border Collie mix who came to us from another shelter after being found as a stray. She is an affectionate girl who minds her manners well; she walks well on a leash, keeps her kennel clean, and isn’t overly needy or demanding. She knows several commands and is smart as a whip; she figures out puzzle toys and new tricks very quickly and enjoys tasks that require her to think! Though she isn’t as high-strung as most dogs of her breed makeup are, she does require some kind of activity to keep her happy, whether it be walks or playing out in the yard or just working on her trick-training! Heidi is food-motivated and will learn quickly using cheese or hot dog slices. Heidi does great with children of all ages but is not a fan of cats. She gets along with most other dogs but can be a little reactive on leash. Heidi is capable of hopping chain link fences so will require a full privacy fence or 6′ fence. She is crate-trained and does well when left alone.
