About Harold:
Harold is a tiny little Shih Tzu mix who came to us with his brother, Gerald. They needed a good grooming, but he is now looking his best! Harold is a sweet little dog who was just a little bit nervous about coming into the shelter environment. He has gained tons of confidence in his short stay with us and joins his brother in playgroups where he romps and wrestles with other little dogs! Harold is smaller than his brother, weighing in at just about 10 lbs, and won’t be getting any bigger! Our vet believes him to be approximately six years old, but you wouldn’t guess that by his personality; Harold is very fun and energetic, and loves to be with his people. He seems to be housebroken, walks well on a leash, and will make a great companion to the right family. He would do well with children of all ages and has a hypoallergenic, low-shed type coat so may do well in a family with allergies as well. He is not bonded to his brother and so they can be adopted out together or separately.
