About Gypsy:

Gypsy is a middle-aged Beagle mix who came to us after a nasty divorce left her with no place to go; dad couldn’t have her in his new apartment, and mom wanted to euthanize her because she didn’t get along with the new puppy. We agreed to take Gypsy in to save her life, and we think she is going to be a great companion for somebody! Gypsy still has a lot of spunk and enjoys playing with most of the other dogs at our shelter. She enjoys walks and car rides, does fine on a leash, and bounces around in the yard like a much younger dog! At a chunky 30 lbs, Gypsy is a great size for just about any living arrangement — she can be a bit talkative when confined to a crate, so may not be the best apartment companion. We don’t know how she would do with cats just yet, but Gypsy would probably be fine with kids of all ages.
