About Gerald:
Gerald is a little Shih Tzu mix who came to us with his brother, Harold. They needed a good grooming, but he is now looking his best! Gerald is a confident little guy who does well with other dogs. He walks well on a leash and shows signs of being housebroken. At only about 15 lbs and 6 years old, Gerald won’t be getting any bigger; he is the perfect sized dog for toy-breed loving families! Gerald can be a little protective of his cage when he first meets you but once he knows you are a friend, he jumps right into your arms and doesn’t care what you do after that! Outside of his cage, he greets people well — he just wants everyone to know that his space is his! Gerald has a low-grade heart murmur which shouldn’t effect his health or longevity but is worth noting.
