About Frankie:
Frankie is a very special boy who is loved by his finders (he was a stray), as well as anyone who meets him at the Haven. He is extremely friendly with all people, and loves ever dog he meets regardless of age or size. This handsome boy can’t decide if he is a Bassett Hound or a Beagle, but if you look closely, you will see some unique characteristics of both breeds. He loves to go on walks, and will definitely follow his nose so a fenced yard is a must for his future family. And he loves tennis balls which will be perfect for that backyard!
Frankie has undergone one of two heartworm treatments, but he isn’t letting those nasty worms get him down. You would never even know he had them when you meet him because he is energetic and very healthy.
The only thing this very sweet boy needs is a home to start his happily ever after. If you are interested in fostering Frankie, he would love that too. It will help him recover from his second heartworm treatment in mid-November.
