About Ethel:
If we were to pick on thing to say about Ethel, it is she will love you the moment she meets you! This girl came to us via a police officer who found her as people were throwing stones and broken concrete at her to keep her away. She only wanted to befriend the people because she was alone and hungry. The officer showed her the tiniest amount of compassion, and Ethel decided to follow her to her car and hitch a ride to a new home! That’s where we enter the picture – the police officer wanted to make sure Ethel landed in a no-kill rescue so that she does not become a victim of the system where her sweetness might be overlooked in the numbers. And Ethel is oh so sweet. She can’t wait to jump in your lap although she technically is not a lap dog, and giving kisses requires a small tilt of the head toward her. Her wiggly little bum, desire to please, and loving eyes make her such an ideal companion for just about anyone. We love her so much and know you will too.
