About Desna:
Desna is a sweet “mini” husky mix – she is a perfect weight at less than 40 lbs and won’t grow any bigger! Desna is a little nervous in new situations and may take a little extrs time to settle in to a new family. Beyond her initial shyness, Desna is a great little dog who would do well in a calm home environment. She loves playing with other dogs, walks great on a leash, and shows signs of having already been housebroken. Desna came to us from another rescue where she just wasn’t having any luck getting adooted for some reason. She was in a foster home and doing great, but we agreed to take her on in hopes that she would have better luck with us. Desna is a mild-mannered dog with a thick, soft coat that makes her look larger than she is. She will require frequent brushing to keep hee looking and feeling her best! We are unsure how Desna would do around cats but feel she wohld benefit from a calmer home without young children.
