Derrick

About Derrick:

Derrick is a young German Shepherd mix who is small in stature but big in personality; he is a goofy boy who is always bouncing around and smiling! He came to us from a local shelter that ran out of space; we offered to take Derrick to help them free up some room, and we are very glad we did! Derrick is so, so sweet. He enjoys playing with tennis balls and running around in the yard with his doggy friends; he is a very energetic player, however, and may be too much for some low-energy dogs to handle. Although Derrick is an adult, he acts very much like a puppy; he is very active and is in need of some basic obedience training. He also still needs work on his potty habits. Derrick will make an awesome dog for an active family ready to teach him how to be the best he can be! He would do well with school aged children who are steady on their feet.
