About Davey:
Davey is a young Border Collie / Husky mix who came to us from a rural shelter that was out of space. He is a super friendly guy who loves everyone he meets! Davey is a high energy pup who absolutely must go to a home committed to keeping him busy through training and exercise; we want him to reach his full potential and be the best dog he can be! Davey loves the company of other dogs and doesn’t need much by way of introduction; he is ready to play with any dog he comes across at the drop of a dime! Davey can be a little snappy when taking treats and is mildly possessive of his food; this is an easy fix with a little training but we are recommending a home without small children in the meantime. Davey has a little bit of fly-strike on his ears but it is healing well and we think the fur will grow back soon. Davey likes to give lots of hugs and kisses and is one of the friendliest pups we’ve met; we would love to get him into an active home committed to working on his manners and helping him be the best companion he can be!
