About Crystal:

Crystal was found as a stray that was in desperate need of food, love and medical care.  She is a regal shepherd mix who has been great with men and women, although a tiny bit shy with initial introductions.  She is friendly with other dogs, likes to go for walks, loves a good romp in the yard, is very playful, and seems to be growing comfortable with cuddling.  It’s clear that she just needs a little time and patience to become comfortable with her surroundings as we witness her blossom into a loving rescue dog.  We have not tested her with children, but believe she is better suited for teenagers.  If you love the shepherd breed this girl is definitely for you, but that’s not a prerequisite to bond with this lovely girl.

Crystal has tested positive for heartworm that I Heart Dogs will pay for, so even if you are only interested in fostering a dog, Crystal needs you to provide a quiet home for her to recover after her treatment.
