Chong

About Chong:

Chong came to us with his friend Cheech after being found in a home full of marijuana plants that then went Up In Smoke (er… flames)! Despite his previous living situation, Chong is a well-rounded German Shepherd who greets new people with ease and shows signs of liking other dogs. He is confident and outgoing, already knows “sit” and “shake”, and always keeps his kennel clean. He is said to love car rides, running around in the yard, and gets the zoomies if you so much as think about saying the word “walk”! Chong learns new things easily when treats are involved and whines like a baby when he isn’t getting his way. Chong has shown absolutely no guarding behavior at our shelter, takes treats gently, and has proven to be a big baby who just wants love. He does need some work on a leash as he is incredibly strong and pulls with everything he’s got. He gets excited to see new people as he believes everyone in the world is here just to love on him! Chong is just an oversized puppy who would do great in just about any home. Although he enjoys the company of his buddy Cheech, they are not required to be adopted together.
