About Chip:
Chip is our little miracle puppy!!!
Chip came to us as a stray found running around in Detroit. Shortly after arriving, he became very, very ill and required hospitalization to ensure his survival. Due to the contagious nature of his illness, Chip was quarantined for quite some time and was unable to be with people or other dogs very much; fortunately, this hasn’t affected his personality very much — he is still an incredibly affectionate boy who loves playing with other dogs and being with people! We think Chip is a hound mix of some sort as he is very leggy and does occasionally bay. Chip does have a lot of pent up energy from being quarantined for so long so would benefit from a home that is willing to take him out on long walks and play with him in the yard. Chip will learn quickly using lots of tasty treats, loves playing with toys of all types, and giving kisses to his favorite people. Overall, Chip is a fun-loving pup ready to start his life in a furever home ready for the energy of a puppy! We would love to get him out of the shelter and into a home soon so he can finally begin his happily ever after!
