About Chip:

Chippy is a Shih Tzu mix who was adopted from another shelter several years ago. When his elderly owner fell critically ill and no longer able to provide him proper care, he was returned and transferred to us. Chippy is a sweet boy who has gotten used to being spoiled rotten — he enjoys being pet and sitting in laps, and will let you know when he is unhappy about something. He is understandably not happy about being back in a shelter environment and would love to get back in to a home as soon as possible! Chippy would do best in a home with teenagers and older. He does fine with other calm dogs and would probably be fine with cats as well. Being a Shih Tzu, Chippy would be great for a family looking for a hypoallergenic breed dog willing to keep up with his grooming demands.
