About Chicka:
Chicka is a cute and sweet 6 year old Dachshund mix who came to us from another shelter. She was originally an owner surrender through no fault of her own and was transferred to us because her chances of finding a home are better in our area. Chicka is a super sweet girl who doesn’t mind being picked up and will even ask to be lifted from her kennel to the floor. She loves treats and will beg for them, but doesn’t have a mean bone in her body and doesn’t guard her possessions! Chicka gets along great with other dogs and would do well in a home with children of all ages. She does have some old scarring at the base of her tail; we are unsure what this is a result of but it seems to be purely cosmetic at this point. Chicka is a quiet dog who would do well in just about any home environment.
