Cheech

About Cheech:

Cheech came to us with his friend Chong after being found in a house full of marijuana that then went Up In Smoke (er… Flames)! Cheech was awfully frightened when emergency services arrived and did need to be pepper sprayed in order to be caught. Since arriving at our Haven, however, Cheech has been nothing but a great dog. He can be a little protective of his kennel but greets strangers outside with no issue. He loves cheese and hot dogs, already knows “sit” and “shake”, keeps his kennel clean, and gets very excited when sees a leash! Cheech is a very big, strong boy who pulls very hard on a leash and will definitely need a little leash work! He seems to get along with other dogs but is very nervous when they bark or growl at him in the shelter. He can be sassy and will talk back when he isn’t getting his way. Cheech really is just a big baby who loves tennis balls, running around in the yard, and getting love from people! He would make a fabulous companion for a Shepherd exprienced home!
