About Chaz:
Chaz is an awesome Akita mix who came to us from another shelter where we was scheduled for euthanasia after going unclaimed. He is a very laid back pup who can be a little nervous in new situations — he absolutely loves people though and will gladly sit next to you and bathe you in kisses if you let him. He loves going for walks and does well on a leash. He enjoys car rides but does get car sick on extended rides, so may require motion sickness medication if he is to join his new family on long trips. We don’t know a whole lot about Chaz’s background but from what we have learned of him during his stay with us, he will be an AMAZING addition to just about any family! He does have a long coat that will require frequent grooming and may do best with older children, but he does very well with other dogs.
