About Charlotte:
Charlotte came to us during the extreme cold period this winter when her owner realized she would not fare well in the cold. After spending much of her life out on a chain being used as a breeder dog, Charlotte is understandably relieved to be done with that life! Despite having spent most of her time outdoors, Charlotte seems to be a mild-mannered, gentle dog who just wants to be in your lap at all times. She seems to know not to get up on the furniture, keeps her kennel clean, and enjoys soft beds… but isn’t beyond ripping the stuffing out of them when she gets bored. Charlotte likes to snuggle and seems to be the type of dog that needs to be touching you at all times. She is a very happy girl who we think will thrive in a home environment. Charlotte does well with other dogs and we think she would do fine with children as well, but we haven’t tested her with cats yet.
