Belle

About Belle:

Belle is a tiny Husky mix who came to us after spending much of her life in a backyard with limited access to food. We think she is absolutely adorable despite her fly-bitten ears and her boney figure; we are working on getting her all fixed up but believe she is beautiful no matter what! Despite her former life, Belle is as sweet as they come; she will jump right up to give kisses and has yet to meet a stranger she didn’t immediately call a friend! Belle also happens to love the company of other dogs and can keep up with the craziest of players! She doesn’t always like people going near her food (which is understandable given her past) and while she has never become aggressive over it, we think she would do best with older children who know to leave dogs alone while they are eating.

Belle came to us with her three puppies who were fat and healthy when they arrived; she took such good care of them despite being starved herself. We are determined to find her human “parents” who will love and care for her like she cared for her babies and have promised to find them all the perfect homes!
