About Bella:
Bella is a young, purebred German Shepherd Dog who came to us when her owner fell on hard times and was no longer able to provide her with the care she needs. Despite the flystrike on her ears, Bella was loved very much and cared for to the best of her owner’s abilities. Bella has a great temperment! She can be a little bit nervous when first meeting new people but will check in with her person to make sure it is safe and will then happily greet strangers! Bella is a happy, goofy Shepherd who gets along well with other dogs. She loves car rides and going for walks, is familiar with being crated, and is said to be housebroken. She bonds closely with her owner and is most confident when given direction and structure. We think Bella would do just fine in a home with older children and other dogs.
