About Arthur:
Arthur is a cute grey tabby cat who came to us as a transfer from a vet clinic where he was turned in as a stray. He came to us with a microchip, but despite multiple attempts to get in touch with his owner, he remained unclaimed and is now ready to find a new family. His microchip information also revealed that his name is Arthur (which he responds to), and that he is approximately 6 years old. He is a very affectionate cat but is not overly needy; he could keep himself company during the long work day without issue, so long as you give him a pat on the head when you get home! Arthur loves sitting in windows and watching the world outside. He uses his litter box like a good kitty and keeps his space neat and tidy. Arthur gets along with other cats and tolerates dogs as well. Unfortunately, Arthur has tested positive for FIV. This is not a death sentence! Cats with FIV can live long, happy lives and can live in a home with FIV negative kitties. They do have weaker immune systems so need to see a vet at the first sign of illness (and for annual checkups, ideally).
