About Annicka:

Picture finding a sweet but scared dog wandering outside on a cold and rainy night searching for food.  She recently had puppies that were no where to be found.  While she was fearful of the people that found her, she was also quick to trust because she needed help fast.  This dog is our sweet Annicka.  Since taking her in, she has been so sweet and compliant.  Despite being in pain with an infected mammory gland, she let the Dr. press, pull, tug, and manipulate all around to determine the extent of the infection — all she did was give kisses.  She has been great meeting new people (including children), dogs and cats at our haven, but what brings us most joy is watching her play with toys.  She is like a little kid at Christmas so excited for the toy that squeaks, then the toy the bounces, then the chewable toy.  It’s obvious she had never been around toys before so she is definitely making up for lost time by appreciating all of her holiday gifts.  But it’s time to let the world know this sweet girl is available for adoption.  It’s time for her new beginning.  Like many others, she will do great in a family environment but any home will be lucky to add her to their family, however large or small.  Will you please consider meeting Annicka to see if you might be her match.  Thank you.
