Alona

About Alona:

Alona was found running around as a stray; she must have been loved by somebody at some point as she was in good condition and already spayed! Unfortunately, she was never claimed — and was also heartworm positive. Alona is a very big, very gentle girl; we believe her to be a mastiff mix of some sort, maybe with lab. She is pretty mellow, walks great on a leash, and really doesn’t require much from her family besides love and affection! Alona has been treated for heartworm and must take it easy for a while, but that shouldn’t be difficult with her laid back personality. Alona gets along with other dogs and would do well in a home with children. Unfortunately, Alona does know how to jump a six-foot fence; supervision while outdoors is key!
