About Ophelia:
Ophelia is a super sweet Pit Bull who came to us as a lost stray; she was actually picked up by one of our employees on the way to work when she was found eating something in the middle of the street. Despite being in good condition and wearing a collar and bandana, Ophelia’s family was never located; we are hoping to find her a new family soon! Ophelia can be a little timid in new environments but approaches new people without hesitation. She loves to be pet and is quite the “leaner”; she will lay against you ask for belly scratches. Ophelia enjoys comfy dog beds and delicious treats. She likes going for walks but could use some work on her leash skills. She rides well in the car and enjoys watching out the window while you drive. Ophelia seems to do ok with other dogs and despite her size and strength, we think she could do fine with kids who are steady on their feet.
