About Maggie:
Maggie is a sweet little hound mix who came to us after her owners requested she be euthanased at our vet — she had no significant health issues so the vet convinced them to send her to rescue instead. She is an older girl who is understandably shaken by being seperated from her family — she may have a little bit of separation anxiety, but we think getting settled into her new home may help with that some, especially if she could find a family where people are home with her more often than not. Maggie likes to follow her nose and can sniff out treats from even the most out of reach places. She likes spending time with people and spends a lot of time snoozing curled up in her blankets. She seems to be housebroken and keeps her kennel tidy. She is very gentle and sweet and doesnt mind being picked up when necessary. Maggie does well with other dogs, and we think she would thrive in a home with a younger playful dog. She will gladly share her home with cats as well. We think she would do fine with kids as well.
