About Alexa:

Alexa is a stunning, black domestic short hair kitten, who is about 6 months old now.  She came to us as a trapped baby with some other outside cats.  She seemed frightened at first, but in a very short time came to relax and appreciate the shelter, regular feedings, and the love we have offered her at I Heart Dogs.  She adores the adult kitties in our cat room, and always seeks one or two to cuddle with.  Recently, Alexa has been in a foster home with one of our volunteers, who also has other adult cats.  She has made GREAT progress and now enjoys laying in Foster Mom’s lap for belly rubs and petting.  She will follow the other adult cats around and rub on them, and purr loudly for their company.  Alexa would do wonderfully in a quiet home with no small children, and with another older kitty who is open to a new friend.  Please give this gorgeous girl a chance? We have given her a great start toward a new life as a pampered pet.  She needs a calm and loving home to complete this and spend her new life being spoiled and adored 🙂
