About Winston:
FOSTER HOME NEEDED
Winston was found as a stray in Detroit and it appears as though he has been homeless for quite some time. However, he is a survivor who made it on the streets despite being completely blind. We believe he has been blind his whole life because he does not startle, and gets around fairly well in an enclosed yard. When walking him, we keep him close to our side and talk to him so that he knows we are there to support him and keep him safe. Winston is so sweet and our heart breaks when we look at the open wounds on his ears from fly bites, and the ribs showing from missing meals. Winston has tested positive for heartworm so we will be getting him neutered and then treated. We would love for him to recover from his treatment in a quiet environment where he can snuggle with the love of a human. He deserves at least that much after fighting to survive on the streets.
