About Ranger:
Ranger is such a handsome Labrador Retriever with lots of personality. He is extremely friendly, enjoys playing fetch in the yard or romping through the kiddie pools, and is great playing with other dogs. Ranger was surrendered to a Michigan county shelter due to being “too energetic” — they must not have gotten the memo that young dogs have energy! But even energetic dogs have a calm side, and we find Ranger the calmest after he has been out playing with his canine companions here at the Haven. For that reason, we recommend that he be adopted to a home where there is another dog to keep him company and run around the yard with. He does need to learn some basic manners, but Ranger is very motivated with treats so he won’t be difficult to train. Plus, Ranger is very smart. This cutie is waiting for somebody to discover how awesome he is and take him home. Please let that be you!
